J.O.Y. Club
Just Older Youth. This was and still is a perfect name for this group of Senior Adults. The Joy Club was organized November 12, 1987 and meets the 2nd Thursday of most months in the fellowship hall of NFBC. Most of the time we enjoy a covered dish luncheon.
Everyone seems to enjoy eating and the fellowship with one another is always great. We normally plan a program of interest for each gathering. The Joy Club likes to keep busy and be active.
In March we sponsor the AARP driving course to help you stay safe and to sharpen your driving skills.
Periodically we bring items and assemble fruit baskets and deliver them to shut-ins or someone who needs a touch of love. During December we take our table decorations of Poinsettias to brighten someone’s day.
We also enjoy taking day trips or even occasional longer trips as we enjoy God’s wonderful gift of life.
