Information & Enrollment Form

In order to be aware of your child’s individual needs, Norcross First Baptist Church asks that all parents complete an enrollment card. Please answer all questions and give any additional information that we may need to know in order to better care for your baby. Should you have a change of address or phone number, please notify your baby’s supervisor as soon as possible. This will help us keep our records up-to-date.

Nursery Procedures

Please wait at the door until the supervisor is able to take your baby and belongings from you. No one is allowed in the area with the babies except the authorized workers. Please give your baby and diaper bag to the Nursery attendants. Also give the attendant any information they may need to know in order to properly care for your child. If an emergency arises, you will be notified immediately.

Illness & Diseases

Please do not bring your child to the Nursery if he/she is sick. Remember, other children will be present, and they may become infected as well. Some signs of illness in a child are: unusual fatigue or irritability, coughing, sneezing, runny nose and eyes, fever, vomiting, diarrhea, inflamed mouth and throat, unusual drowsiness, loss of appetite, or hoarseness.

Alert System

For the well-being of our babies (and parents!), Norcross First Baptist Church offers a pager alert system. When you bring your child to our Nursery, you will be given a pager and assigned a number. A tag with a duplicate number will be placed on your baby’ s bed. No one will be allowed to pick up your baby without presenting the pager to the Nursery Supervisor. This system is for the protection of your child. Please be careful not to misplace the pager. All toys, beds and other equipment in the Nursery are sanitized each time the rooms are used. This extra effort on the part of our workers will help keep your baby healthier and happier. Bed sheets are also changed after each child’ s use. If any problems occur while caring for your child during the service, your pager will vibrate. Simply come to the Nursery and the worker will assess the situation with you.
