Gail Cheek grew up at First Baptist Norcross and has taught Sunday School here for over 30 years. She has 3 children. Gail has a masters and specialist degree in education counseling and has been a teacher and high school counselor for 32 years.

Wade Grogan is 59 years old, has been married to Sheila for 39 years and has two grown daughters, Amanda who lives in Denver and is unmarried, and Gina Darnell. Gina and her husband Andy are members at NFBC, and the have two daughters, Tabitha, 4 years old, and Phoebe, 10 months old. Wade is a native of Norcross. Sheila was raised at NFBC and has been a member sice she was very young as her parents, Lewis and Hazel Moore are long standing members at NFBC. Wade joined NFBC after their marriage in 1972. Wade is a Deacon and has served on the finance committee. He graduated from Georgia State University, worked as a CPA, and retired from Alltel Supply after 27 years.

Ron Sherwood, 66 years young, married to Frankie for 42 years. Two daughters-Tahnya works for The North American Mission Board. Jennifer has her own dental practice, is married to Steve Bragg, two grandsons-Tyler 2 years old and Beau 5 months old. Moved to Norcross from Mississippi in 1985 and joined First Baptist Norcross at that time. Currently serving as a Deacon and a member of Pam Crowell/Joe Brand Sunday School Class, former choir member. Has worked for IBM since 1964 and is still working there.

Cheryl Yarbrough and her husband David have been members of First Baptist Norcross since late 1979. THey have one daughter, Cristy, who is currently a senior at Georgia Tech and who also serves as a student leader at NFBC. Chreyl has served as a teacher in the student ministries, and as the Chair of the Finance Committee in prior years. She currently serves on the Finance Committee.

She is a shareholder in the certified public accounting firm of Tarpley & Underwood, P.C. where she is responsible for accounting and auditing practice.

Jae Early currently serves as Senior Director of Human Resources for Habitat for Humanity International located in Atlanta. He has 25 years of Human Resources experience with for-profit and non-profit organizations primarily in the areas of employee pay and benefits, employee relateions and staffing/recruiting.

Currently he serves as the student ministry coordinator for NFBC and he is a Deacon. Previously he served on the church's Personnel Committee for four years.

He and his wife Lee Ann, who teaches the International Sunday School class and in the English as a Second Language (ESL) program, have two children (Charlotte and Phillip) who are active in the church's student ministry.

Jim Schreiber is 38 years old, has been married to his wife Brenda for 10 years and has a 5 year old daughter Ali. The Schreibers have lived in Norcross for 8 years.

Jim and Brenda joined the church in 2004. Jim is a former member of Grace Baptist Church in Brunswick, OH, where he was saved and baptized. Jim and Brenda rotate monthly teaching a combined class of Kindergarten and 1st grade Sunday School and are on a rotation schedule to help with Praise in the Park.

Bruce Smith, 43 years old, married to Carolee for 16 years. They have 3 children, Gram (8), Callie (6), and Parker (4). They have lived in Historic Norcross for 11 years and have been members of NFBC for 10 years. Bruce serves in the worship band and is chairman for the Personnel Committee as well as the Pastor Search Team.

Bruce is a graduate of the University of Georgia and holds a BBA in Accounting. He served as a Council Member for the City of Norcross for 3 years, has served as Mayor ProTem, and other areas of the City Government. He currently works at Huron Consulting Group, a diversified financial and corporate strategy consulting firm.
