Our After School Kids Ministry is a state-licensed
program that provides quality childcare with a Christian
perspective. Our spacious facilities include a gym
for basketball and indoor games, a regulation size
baseball field for kickball, and a large playground
with equipment for leisure play. Our clean, attractive
classrooms provide the perfect setting for homework
activities. The trained staff maintains high standards
by attending workshops throughout the year.
The After School Kids Ministry is a program designed
to care for your children after school has ended.
We service Berkeley Lake Elementary, Norcross and
Simpson Elementary schools, and Norcross Christian
Academy and Kindergarten.
In the afternoon, Norcross Elementary students ride
the school bus to the church and arrive at approximately
3:45 p.m. We pick up the children at Berkeley Lake
and Simpson Elementary. Our afternoon schedule includes
snacks, devotion, homework time, organized games,
and art activities. Children must be picked up by
6:00 p.m.
We follow the Gwinnett County School calendar. When
schools are out, we are open all day, from 7:30a.m.
– 6:00p.m. Except when schools are closed Due
to bad weather.
We are open all year, Monday through Friday, except
when the schools are closed due to hazardous road
conditions, or if there is a traveler's advisory out.
The After School Program is also closed on the following
holidays:
Labor Day
Thanksgiving Holidays (Thursday and Friday)
Christmas Holidays (December 24 and 25)
New Year Holidays (December 31 and January 1)
Good Friday
Memorial Day
We have a one time registration fee of $50.00. In
addition, we charge $60.00 per week per child. Our
drop-in fee is $20.00 per day and the child must be
registered. When school is closed for the day, we
charge an additional $11.00 per child and $6.25 for
early release days.
